Pastor Richard D Shaw
Pastor Richard D. Shaw is a transformative leader, with 27 years of pastoral leadership within the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, who aims to change lives through the gospel, love, and service of Christ. He has been the pastor of St. Matthew since August 8, 2010, where he leads the congregation in Christ-centered teachings, compassionate ministries, a caring culture, and community engagement.

Additionally, he is the current President of MICAH (Milwaukee Inner-City Congregations Allied for Hope), an inter-faith, multi-racial organization that empowers those in Milwaukee to organize against systemic racism and oppression.
Pastor Shaw also serves as a Campus Minister of the St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care (stanncenter.org) where he continues his service by offering pastoral care for faculty, staff, and clients.
Pastor Shaw’s service and commitment to social change, strategic partnerships and community collaboration extends in his role as Chaplain for the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department.
